Christmas pictures

Here is Lukas with all his cousins on my side of the family. (Actually not all his cousins are here. Ella was not here.)This was taken at grandma and grandpa Winter's house. Lukas loves his cousins.
Here is Lukas showing off 2 new car toys he got for Christmas. He loves cars and trucks!
Grandma Singleton gave him this tonka truck toy and it was a big hit. He rides on it all the time.
Here is my sister Candace and her husband, Dave, holding their baby, Parker.
Lukas is into tackeling the other kids for some reason and so here he is on top of Jacob while Tacy tries to referee.
We had a wonderful Christmas and we ended up with more than enough gifts. We loved spending time with family and we are sad that it is over. Christmas Eve, we spent the day with Brian's family at his parents house. Beau and Rachael and their three girls were there and Brian's grandparents. We played in the snow, watched Polar Express, ate tons of junkfood, hung out, acted out the Nativity, ate more junk food, and just hung out and laughed alot, and ate even more junk food. Oh , we even wrote a poem about our day. It was alot of fun.
Christmas day we spent the day at my family's house. My three sister's and their families were there. There were alot of kids running around. We got to talk to Scott on the phone so that was one of the highlights of the day. He seems to be doing well on his mission. I was sad that he couldnt be there with us but I know he is doing what he is suppossed to be doing. My grandma Winter came and spent the day with us and later that night my grandpa Tolman and my aunt and uncle and their family came for dinner and to open more presents. So, we had a pretty fun day. We always enjoy when family gets together and it seems like the time always flies by. We hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas and we hope you have a wonderful New Year.
(Oh ya, Lukas got sick during Christmas time. He got a cold and a bad cough. He seems to be doing better though so hopefully he is getting over it. Poor little guy.)

Snow Day !!!

Here is Brian and Lukas in our front yard a few days ago. We got a ton of snow and the snowflakes were huge and gorgeous. It reminded me of a snowglobe.

These pictures were taken on Christmas Eve. We were in Idaho Falls and it snowed ALL DAY!!! I dont think it has snowed all day in a long time. Lukas liked being out in the snow (as long as daddy was holding him. ) He didnt like standing in the snow cause he couldnt walk because it was so deep. He had very red cheeks by the time he came in. ( I am sad I didnt get a picture of it cause it was so cute.)

Fun Fun Fun

This weekend, we were in Idaho Falls visiting with family. Brian's sister, Rachael, and her 3 girls were there also and so as you can see, everyone wanted grandpa. Here is a good example of that. Lukas had a ton of fun playing with Kloie and Bently. Kloie is dressed up in a princess dress like she usually is when they are here.
Here is Kloie and Lukas watching Polar Express (again) and as you can tell, Lukas is very into it. He couldnt even look away tor 2 seconds to look at me while I took the picture. And it is still the only movie he will actually sit through.
Lukas loves being out in the snow. He thought it was pretty cool that he could go out and play in it. Now I just need to find some snow pants for him. Maybe somes gloves would be a good investment also.
Here is Lukas with grandpa Singleton. I think he was looking for birds since grandpa was making bird noises. We had a fun weekend. We stayed at my parents cause they went out of town Saturday and Sunday, so I was in charge of feeding the horse and the dog. Lukas still loves chasing the dog. He always calls out for her and it is so funny how he tries to say her name. Instead of Nellie, it sounds more like, Neney. It is cute though. Hopefully that dog never dies cause I think Lukas is pretty attached already. I think we will get one someday. Brian doesnt know about that, but I am sure we will. hee hee. We are getting way excited for Christmas and Lukas loves going for drives at night and looking at all the houses with their lights up. He has actually done really good at leaving the Christmas tree alone. He did try to eat a piece of a decoration the other day but decided it didnt taste too great so he spit it out and hasnt tried again since. Cant blame him.

My Sweet Little Lukie

Here is Lukas sporting his favorite pair of Elmo pajamas. He always looks down and points to Elmo and gets a huge smile on his face while saying Elmo. As you can see, he is excited to be wearing Elmo.
Here is our little Beethoven practicing the piano. He loves to sit there and pound on the keys. maybe someday he will be as good as Beethoven.

So, is this not the cutest picture ever? I was making lunch today and I came into the living room to check on him and this is what I found. I couldnt help but take pictures. Doesnt he look so precious? (Sorry if you are tired of Lukas pictures. But that is pretty much what I do all day is play with Lukas. And I dont really like taking pictures of myself)

Christmas decorating fun

So tonight we put up our tree and decorated it and our house. We had a lot of fun. Lukas was WAY to helpful. I can tell I am going to have my hands full trying to keep him away from the ornaments. He kept going to the tree and just staring at it. Now I am in the Christmas mood and it is so fun. The picture with the 3 snowmen I thought I would show you because we have a little boston terrier ornament that I put with it and Lukas loves it. (I thought the fam would enjoy that picture). We cant leave Nellie out, right? I dont know if I can put gifts under the tree cause I think Lukas would be way to excited about playing with them. I guess I can try and see what happens. Brian brought home pizza tonight and we playing Christmas music loudly and just had a wonderful evening. Now we are watching the Polar Express again. ( For Lukas of course) I actually really like the movie too. Brian does too. Now all we need is snow. We are hoping.

Feeding the Elders

Last night we had the Elders over for dinner. It kinda looks like this Elder is trying to wrestle Lukas onto his lap but really Lukas was just trying to get off his lap and the Elder was helping him. It was fun having them over though. It made me kinda miss Scott though. Lukas was a huge show off. (As always). He was making them laugh at dinner by making crude noises and then laughing at himself. At least they all thought it was pretty funny.

My Teddy

So I have this teddy bear that Brian gave me a long time ago that Lukas has recently discovered. It has been his sidekick for the last couple days and it is so funny cause it is as big as him. He loves it though. He gets so excited when he sees it and says "bear" with a huge smile on his face. I didnt know he would get so much excitement from it. But I say, "whatever makes him happy."
We watched the Polar Express movie with Lukas the other night and he LOVED it. He sat through the whole movie and just watched it. He has NEVER sat through a whole movie before. I guess he loves Christmas just as much as we do. It was so fun though watching it just the three of us. He is so much fun. I cant wait for Christmas. We are going to put up our Christmas tree on Friday so Lukas should have fun with that. We were going to put it up tonight but Brian got home late from work and Lukas was too tired. So Friday is the day. I am so excited !!!!!

We want to wish everyone a Happy Turkey Day! We hope everyone had a good day. We ate too much as usual. At least it is one day that I can tell myself that it is o.k. to overeat. ( What is my excuse for every other day? Uhhh.... dont have one.) We went to Rexburg with my parents and had a big meal with my grandma and my aunt and uncle and their family. It was fun. We went to a church and so Lukas had lots of fun running around. The boys played basketball and I just relaxed. It was nice. Lukas was pretty convinced that he could fit in this little toy bus thing. He spent alot of his time trying this out. As you can see..... he is a little too big. But he had a lot of fun. Now dad and Brian are watching football and I am still just relaxing. What a good day to be lazy. Mom and I are getting up early tomorrow morning to try to get some shopping done. I dont like the big crowds, but it is kinda tradition. We wished the rest of the family could be here. It was weird being the only kid here. Oh well, I am looking forward to Christmas when at least all my sisters and their families are coming. I wonder what Scott did today being a missionary and all. Hopefully he had a good day. We missed him around here.
Still trying to fit in the bus. Still too big for it.
Lukas loves being pushed around on my grandpa's walker. He just takes a seat and we have to take turns pushing him around.
Lukas with Grandpa Garth at the Thanksgiving party.
Daddy and Lukas hanging out with the food. Yum...... I love Thanksgiving food. Stuffing is my fav. Well, as you can see it wasnt a huge party but it was still fun. Hope you all had fun too.

Just hanging out

Tonight I had a big thing of water and Lukas wanted to drink it too, so I gave it to him and he set it on the floor and drank out of it without picking it up. It was funny. After each drink he would stand up and say " MMMM, AHHHHH" He thought he was pretty clever that he could drink out of it without holding it.

Just a few pics of us hanging out.

Weekend in Utah

This weekend we took a little trip to Utah to see my sister, Candace. Lukas found their baby's bouncer and liked to sit in it. (As you can see he is a little too big for it. ) He loved it though. I guess he wanted to get the attention that Parker got when he sat in it. The trip was fun. Brian got a really bad cold so we all know what that means..... I am going to get it. Dang it. Oh, well. What do you do. My brother in law, Dave, gave me some airborne today to try to keep the cold away from me. Hopefully it works. Dave swears by that stuff. We just got home a little bit ago and Lukas is kinda cranky cuz as usual, he is getting another molar. It seems like he gets a new tooth everyday so it seems like he has a sore mouth all the time. Thank goodness for infant tylenol.
While we were there, Candace came home with a new stroller for Parker and Lukas had to just sit in it inside the house. I guess it was just something new that he liked. But when we would try to take him out, he would get kinda mad at us.

Lukas was so cute with their baby, Parker. Here is a picture of Lukas kissing Parker. Won't he be a wonderful big bro someday? He is still learning to be soft with babies but he sure likes to pet them on the head. He is always ready to give kisses too.

Hello again. I took some cute pictures of Lukas today during bathtime that I thought you would like. He loves getting baths but when it is time to get dressed, he always tries to run away. Silly kid. He has been so hyper lately. He learned how to say "Thank you" in his own cute little way and now he says it all the time. "tank yo" is how it sounds. It is pretty funny.

Our new blog!

Hey everyone. Brian and I decided to start a new blog to share with everyone. We thought it would be a good idea to share our experiences and let everyone know what is going on with us. Lukas is growing up so fast and he is so funny and we just want to share that with you. I am new at this so hopefully this works. Keep checking back now and then and hopefully I will keep this thing updated on a regular basis. Lukas is 14 months old now and walking all over the place. He is so happy all the time and thinks he is the funniest person ever. This is a picture of Lukas and me at my grandpa's funeral the other day. He passed away last week and the funeral was really nice. He was such a great man and I miss him so much. I just have to remind myself that he is happy where he is and I will see him again. ( I will add some more cheery pictures later on.) Anyway, hopefully you all enjoy our blog and it will get more exciting. ( Hopefully). Bye for now!!!!
