Finally!!! We got a new computer.

Well, we finally got our new computer so I can start blogging again. Here are some pictures from over the summer that I havent been able to put on here yet. Above is Lukas playing on the slip n slide. He loves those things.
Here he is with his aunt Rachael and cousins Kloie and Bently. I didnt put a swim diaper on Lukas so he just had a regular diaper on. He had the biggest diaper ever when he was done. It was so funny.
Lukas with Grandpa Singleton and cousins Kloie, Bently, and Olivia. You can just barely see little Bently behind Lukas.

The above pics are some that were taken at the Rexburg parade on the 4th of July. Lukas had a blast looking at all the different things.

This is Lukas' favorite new thing to do at my parents house. They put of this tire swing that is a horse and holy cow...... he loves it! We have to play on it tons when we go visit there now. It's right next to grandpa's horse too so as he is swinging, he usually talks to the horse at the same time.
Here is a pic that I got of Lukas and daddy sleeping after a good swim at my sister's house.
Lukas just cheesing it up as usual. He loves to play on the piano and sing. Future American Idol right here. Just kidding.
Here is a lovely pic of me and Lukas and my nephew Parker. (I just got done swimming so I look beautiful I know. ) Well, those are just a few pic I have taken lately. Hopefully I can get some more on soon.

Securing my blog

So I have finally decided that I am going to make my blog private. So if any of you out there want to still view our blog leave me your email address and I will send you an invite. I will wait a few days to make sure people know I am doing this. I have just heard some weird stories about random people leaving weird comments on other peoples blogs so I thought it is better to be safe. So just let me know if I dont already have your email address. THANKS

Julie Rzechula (Mrs. Camano Island) 4th runner up in the Mrs. Washington pageant!

This past weekend I got to go to Washington because my oldest sister, Julie, competed in the Mrs. Washington pageant. She did AWESOME! This is only her 2nd pageant EVER, and she got 4th runner up! Her goal was to get into the top 10 and she made it into the top 5. So she was very pleased and she is so happy. So, I am so happy for her. That is something I could never do cause I HATE being up in front of people. She used to also but she conquered her fears. She looked awesome up there. She also had the only modest dress on and that was important to her so I am proud of her. Here are a few pics from the pageant. (Sorry they are so blurry. We need a new camera really bad.)

Here is Julie with 3 of her 4 kids. Jayce fell asleep so he wasnt in the pic. Her kids were so proud of her.
Here are her four kids: Wynter, Payton, Joshua, and Jayce. I took theis pic right before the pageant.
Here is Julie and her husband, Brad. He got to escort her on stage for the evening gown part.
Here she is with the lady that won the title. Julie said she is so happy this lady won. I cant remember her name but she is 49 years old. (She doesnt look it huh)
Here is a pic of my gorgeous sister. Can you tell how happy she is?
Here she is during her question part. She did really good on that too. I had a pic of her in the swimsuit part but didnt know if she would want me to post that online. She looked great! I dont think anyone looks better than she does in a swimsuit. (Lucky) . So, my mom and my sister, Candace made the trip to Washington and back in 2 days. 18 hour drive in 2 days. That was fun. (I guess.) The way there went way fast but the drive home took FOREVER! Glad to be home that is for sure. Julie's oldest daughter, Wynter, came home with us and will be spending a few weeks here at my mom and dad's house. Lukas has been LOVING having her around. So anyway, I am glad I got to go. It was fun. I am so proud of my sister. She did such an amazing job! We are proud of you! (By the way Julie, your daughter told us the funniest story ever about Joshua on the car ride home. We will talk to about that later.)

Lukas is still cute and funny as ever!

Lukas got a new lawnmower toy that he absolutely loves. He loves mowing the lawn with daddy so I couldnt resist getting own for him. It was a great purchase I must say. There are some more pics of him and his lawnmower later in this post. I got them out of order. Sorry.
This is how he looked when I went to wake him up from his nap so I could get him ready for church. He was OUT. I felt so bad for waking him up but he woke up in a good mood so it was ok. Isnt he so cute?

Lukas loves to play with his old bassinet and lay in it like he is a little baby. So today I found him laying in it, with no clothes on, and playing with dad's electric toothbrush. He is too funny.

These pics were taken at my parents house. Lukas loves playing with their dog, Nellie. As you can see he likes to play with her. He started a new thing where he puts food in his hand and teases he with it so she will chase him and he laughs and laughs. Someday we will have a dog for him to love. Hopefully.

Lukas has been having fun lately!

Lukas found something new he likes to do. He puts on Daddy's old snow goggles and then pushes his old walker toy around like he is mowing the lawn. I dont know why he started doing this but he thought it was fun and I thought it was pretty funny.
Here is Lukas with my dad. He loves riding the lawnmower with grandpa. Whenever we go to their house, the first thing he says to my dad is "lawnmower". He would ride it all day if we let him. He even likes to go sit on it when it is just sitting in the garage. He loves that thing!
Here is Lukas in Parker's car seat. He thinks it is funny to sit in it like he is a little baby. But as you can see, he is definately too big for it but he likes it anyway.

There are some pics with Lukas and his cousin Parker. Candace (my sister) and her husband came to Idaho Falls this past weekend and Lukas loved playing with Parker. Parker is getting so big and as you can see, he is such a cutie. He has the bluest eyes and biggest smile. When they left to go home, Lukas went around the house calling for him. I think he misses him.

The above pics and Lukas with another cousin, Ella. She is my brother, Landon's , little girl. Landon's wife, Shellie, came to Idaho Falls to go to her sister's graduation and we got to watch Ella for the evening. They played so good together! Ella is so cute and fun. She is about 8 months older then Lukas but they are the same size and Lukas loved having someone just his size to play with. They ran around chasing eachother alot and laughed alot. It was fun to see you Shellie and Ella.

These pics were taken at my parent's neighbors house last weekend. He has a miniature horse and it had a baby so Lukas got to go down and see it. Isnt it crazy how small they are. The baby is smaller then Lukas! They sure are cute though. Lukas really liked seeing them. He loves horses. He like to help my dad feed his horse. He throws little pieces of hay to her and then laughs at himself. Maybe we have a little cowboy on our hands. So Lukas had a fun weekend seeing family and playing lots. He is getting so big and talking more and more eachday. I love my little boy!

Bye Bye Binky......Finally

So, I know what you are all probably thinking. My kid will be two in August and I am just taking away his binky. He loved them so much I just couldnt bare the thought of seperating them. I thought it would be so hard cause I have heard horror stories and so I just kept putting it off. So yesturday we just decided to do it cold turkey. We told Lukas that if he threw his binkies in the garbage and said bye bye to them, I would take him to the store the next day and buy him a bike. ( He has been wanting one for a long time.) So I didnt really think that it would work but IT WORKED!!! He went to bed without it, which I thought would be impossible. He hasnt even asked for it. He did wake up up at 5 this morning and was kinda whining a little bit for it but I just told him that it went bye bye and when we wake up in the morning he gets a bike. Then he went back to sleep. So that was like way easier then I ever imagined. Why didnt I do it along time. I guess I just didnt want to deal with it and now that it is done, I am glad. He was WAY too attached. He would have one in his mouth and one in both hands most of the time. I guess that is why I thought it would be hard. But I am so glad it is gone eventhough I think it was harder on me then it was on him. I realized he isnt a baby anymore. So here are some pictures of him and his new bike. Also is a picture of what he did to his face this morning. He took my eye liner and drew on his chin while sporting daddy's dirty hat. Silly kid. Gotta love him though. And how can you get mad at that face. Seriously.
