We had a good Christmas! Did you?

Here is Lukas' new favorite toy that he got from Santa. He has been asking for a train set with a table for the last 3 months so he was pretty excited when he saw this on Christmas morning. Except we didnt have it built yet and he cried when he couldnt play with it right away. So we learned an important lesson this year : have the toys ready for them to play with when they wake up. He did ok though. He helped dad build it and loves it very much.

Here is a little snow cave that Brian built for Lukas. Lukas thought it was pretty fun. I did too until it fell in on him. But it was really small so it didnt hurt him at all. He thought it was pretty funny actually.

Here is Lukas with his cousins, Livie, Bently, and Kloie. He had a blast playing with them on Christmas Eve. Tina's family was here the weekend before Christmas and I feel bad cause I didnt get any pics with their kids. Actually I didnt get many pics taken this year and I feel bad. I didnt even get any of us opening presents. I guess I was too busy helping Lukas with his presents that I didnt even think about it.

Here is Lukas, Kloie, and Bently on Christmas Eve as we were doing the acting of the Nativity. Lukas loved his little outfit eventhough it was WAY too big. He still looked cute though.

And here is Lukas and Kloie sneaking tastes of the gingerbread house they made. We had a wonderful Christmas and ended up with way more things then we need. It was fun to spend time with family and just relax and think about all we have and have been blessed with. We have so much to be thankful for. We have a good life and we are happy. What more could you ask for?

Your little boy is so cute!! I bet he loved his train set. We learned the lesson of having the toys put together a few years ago and now we always stay up very late on Christmas Eve and build. :)

That train set is amazing! I've been anxious to see what it looks like, so thanks for posting those pictures. I'm glad you had such a great Christmas - but just think how great it would have been if we had been there!! I guess we'll look forward to that for next year.
